Playschool

Spring-Mar’s Playschool is a special classroom opportunity for children ages 12 to 24 months. This parent and child class meets once a week on Monday mornings from 9:30-11:00am. Playschool participants get to experience being in a classroom and loosely follow a schedule that is modeled after a typical preschool day, condensed into an hour and a half session.

Class includes stories, music, movement activities, outside time, and visits to the art and block rooms. Participating in playschool exposes children to a wide range of activities, people, and situations that can’t be found at home or even in a “gym-based” class.

Playschool registration is not part of Spring-Mar’s regular admissions and is handled separately by a Spring-Mar member. Students in playschool are eligible for priority registration for preschool classes when they turn 2.
