Shopping
Our sale
is held once in spring and fall. The sale is held rain, snow or shine,
if at all possible. This year is our tenth year for our sale. We will
have items from over 100 consignors plus over 1000 items donated by the
members of our preschool and their friends and family. Items include
toys, clothes for coming season, accessories, baby equipment, and
maternity and nursing wear. Consignors set the prices on their items
and the donated items are always priced to sell so bargains
abound. Clothing is hung on racks for ease of shopping. Due to
space constraints, we cannot accommodate shoppers with strollers. Cash
and checks are accepted. All proceeds go to benefit Spring-Mar
cooperative preschool, a not-for-profit organization.
Consigning
Consignors
tag and price their own items and receive a percentage of sales. Items
are dropped off the afternoon and evening before the sale. All
consignors shop early. Items can be picked up after the sale or
donated to Spring-Mar/charity. Consignors who work the sale receive a
greater percentage. To consign, send your name, address and phone
number to sales@spring-mar.org or
call 703-239-1213 x5. We will reply to requests begining 8 weeks
before the next sale. Download the consignor guide with
more information, as well as a consignor number. You must have your number to consign.
Donations
Donations
are greatly appreciated. Email us at sales@spring-mar.org or call 703-239-1213 x5 to make a
donation. Items needed include kids clothes for the coming season, toys
(no plush, please), books and videos. Spring-Mar is a non-profit
organization, so donations are tax deductible. Receipts are available.
Pick-up may be available. Donors shop early!
