Spring-Mar Cooperative Preschool: School Facilities

Spring-Mar rents space in the Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church (AUUC). The school is not affiliated with AUUC, but does offer AUUC members a 5 percent tuition discount.

All classrooms have lots of natural light and are fully air-conditioned in hot weather.

There is an independent art room with sand and water tables and plenty of space for painting, play dough, and creating projects related to the week’s theme. Center time imaginative play are housed in the independent block room. Music, movement and yoga classes take place upstairs in the church sanctuary. The school also has access to a full kitchen on the main floor of the church.

Playgrounds feature well-built play structures, a secure space for riding tricycles, and a separate play area for younger children. Fields and woodland trails are also utilized by the preschool.
